The mantra I am adopting, along side the one that goes "chocolate is the answer.....".

Things are certainly upside down at the moment but we all remain healthy. The only thing I would really like (besides a bar of sweet goodness or a jolly good baking session) is some sleep. Both Mr Magic and myself appear to be very good at getting "brain whirrrr" as soon as our heads hit the pillow.

But little magics are skipping along taking everything in their stride, they always make us so very proud of them.

All your thoughts, prayers, words and rays of sunshine that are being sent are heartfelt and so very much appreciated - thank you, I will be back soon with hopefully a less gloomy post full of hope and plans for our future.

So sorry to hear life is being a struggle for you at the moment, less magic more muddle as someone said. I don't know you, but do know that life can be a so-and-so at times, often when you least expect it, it can jump up and bite you on the bum, wipe the happy sunshiney smile off your face for a time. Hopefully this will pass soon, and you will be back to being a very smiley lady as the pictures showed on A Bun Can's blog.

Hello, I have popped over from Denise and I am so glad I have... what a fabulous blog and your crochet and preserving and the sloe chocolates and the sloe gin (which I expect has all gone by now ...lol) are all wonderful... I so much want to do all these things... well apart from the crochet ... I already do that! ;D but you have some amazing ideas and patterns... what a inspiration you are...
I know exactly what you mean about the brain starting to whirr as soon as you go to bed... its more annoying than my mother... ;D
I am sure you will all come out at the end of the tunnel a little dusty but no real worse for wear... its one of lifes little character building experiments...
all your bloggy buddies are here to listen and help where we can.. and I am so pleased to have met such a wonderful family...

chin up and big Somerset hugs
Alex

Dear Deb, I love following you through your blog, and I know only too well from Denise what a SPECIAL friend you are (and actually that is quite rare). What goes around, comes around and so I am sure YOU will reap some beautiful feelings about life again very soon. At times like this its important to TREAT yourself - even some 'time' to yourself is enough, but try a little of anything that reminds you that your are special. Love Helen, Darcy and Bingley xxx

Hey! Here you are and talking of chocolate, so I am glad to hear the cocoa beans are working their own kind of magic!
The sun is shining here for you today, and I hope it is shining on the Magic world too - sending lots of big hugs and cuddles,

Hi Deb, Denise sent me over. Cling on to each other and ride out the storm. Lifes "downs" help you appreciate the "ups" even more so - and everything does pass eventually. Fingers crossed for you. xxxx
